1# GWS : Tom Boyd, who else would you be expecting, the talk all year that he has carried the number 1, and that wont be changing anytime soon.

#2 GWS: Josh Kelly, this will just add to the Giants already future star midfield, this bloke is a beautiful user by hand and foot and is very explosive, is out of him and Jack billings for this spot but it does look like a done deal.

#3St Kilda: Jack Billings, a player that can turn a game on its head with only a few disposals, has been described as a good user of the ball and has similar traits to Nathan brown when he played for the bulldogs, could go here for as late as pick 6 but cant see him sliding any further then that.

#4 western bulldogs, Matthew Scharenberg, this is where it gets interesting for the rest of the top 10, I think the bulldogs will look closely at Scharenberg and Aish but will chose Scharenberg purely based on the fact he can play more positions, if the doggies chose to take Aish then Scharenberg wont last past pick 6 or pick 7.

#5 Gold Coast, Kade Kolodjashnij, lock it in he will become a sun become draft day, the exact player Guy McKenna if after and he will be snapped up here, although I think it's a little early for him myself the talk has been around for a while that this will be a lock in.

#6 Collingwood, Marcus Bontempelli, the next Scott Pendlebury? this should be pretty simple by the pies here, they like the look of him and Hine has been a big fan for quite some time now, has a beautiful 60+ metre kick and is exactly what the pies need to add to the midget brigade they have atm.

#7 Brisbane, James Aish, purely best available, if this kid is here they will snap him up in a heart beat, has beautiful skills and his evasiveness is first class, could be a the gem of the draft.

#8 North Melbourne, Luke McDonald, definitely top 3 on talent, North have a steal with this kid at pick 8.

#9Melbourne: Ben Lennon, is probably best available, would be very surprised if Melbourne passed up here and don't expect them too, they have had talks with Nathan Freeman but I think they will pick Lennon here to add to the struggling Dees midfield, wont last pick 13.

#10 Collingwood Christian Salem, from all reports Derek Hine has huge wraps on him and will look to take him here, he would also be considered at pick 6 but I think the pies are more keen on bontempelli just before selem, has a beautiful kick and can break the line, tackling machine!, wont last past this pick.

#11 West Coast Domenic Sheed, this looks a done deal, the only reason West coast agreed to the trade with Collingwood was for the simple fact they believe Sheed will last to this pick and to true they will get there man, absolute beauty at this pick loves the inside work and can use the ball good pick up here for the eagles.

#12 Richmond Nathan Freeman, the tigers will be after a ready made body and Freeman is just that, has a beautiful set of skills and has amazing pace, this will be the steal of the draft.

#13 Carlton Cameron Mccarthy, is easily the second best KPF in this years draft and the blues will look to swoop here, has a good eye for the goals and a good contested mark, I cant see how they would let him past this pick.

#14 GWS Matt Crouch, yep the Giants are back at it and should add some more midfield power, they will get the hard in and at it Matt Crouch, is probably the best inside midfielder of this draft and wont last to long after this selection, will help replace the loss of Adams in the inside work.

#15 Sydney Darcy Gardiner, this is just a smart choice by the swans in my opinion, the best KDF in the draft and could be a steal, some of the swans defenders ain't getting any younger I just think this is a list based decision and will be a handy pick up in 2-3 years.

#16 Geelong Lewis Taylor, this kid on talent alone is a top 10 pick there is no doubt about it, the only problem being is his height, has one of the best sets of skills in the draft and I can see geelong taking him based on the fact of who they've lost this off season including Joel Corey and Chappy, would just seem a team balancing decision.

#17 Fremantle Blake Acres, the home grown talent should appeal to Freo here plays similar to Anthony Morabitto and looks like a really handy talent here, could be a steal here I believe but will need a couple of years to develop in the WAFL.

#18 St Kilda Jonathon Marsh, with saint Nick closer to the end then the beginning I think the saints could load up here and take a KPF, looks to have a lot of talent although he isn't quite KP size this is someone that could appeal to the saints for the future.

#19 St Kilda Billy Hartung, well if you want a running machine here it is along with the running he is reasonably quick and can use the ball the word is the Saints are very keen on him and he should still be available, if not I think they will look at Eli Templeton with this selection.

Its not James Kelly is Josh Kelly, James Kelly has played for Geelong about the last 10 or so years

Otherwise not to bad of a first round. Would be surprised to see Aish slip that far but stranger things have happened.

Could you please add on some more selections, to say pick 30ish, or if not who do you think Port will go for?

Why would the Suns overlook Aish for the K kid. Aish is a proven performer against men, has a brilliant football pedigree and is plain and simple a better prospect for any club. K may fill more of a need but surely you go best available with your first pick.
Also he roomed with Gaz during his AFL placement and all reports say he loved it up there.

well from all reports the 'k' kid could go early as pick 3, just because your a proven player doesn't mean anything, I think aish will slide abit but just my opinion

Interesting. I don't see Aish sliding to 7th. If he's still available at 6, I think Pies would take him in a heartbeat.
Here's to hoping Lennon slides to 10 :D

So if your choosing between Aish and KK you'd pick KK because Aish is proven?!? I'm assuming you don't mean to say it doesn't mean anything i.e. playing in back to back senior Sanfl GF's.
All of Aish's best work was done a senior level were as KK his most notable performances were at u/18 level. I know he had some good performances at TFL senior level but the TFL is definitely not on par with Sanfl standard. Also KK played as an unmarked HBF for the most part, Aish in the guts.
I wouldn't be surprised if Collingwood snapped up Aish at 6 if you're logic turns out right. He's better than any mid left given Kelly and Billings would most likely be gone (who are at best on par with Aish). I know the talk is there keen on Bontempelli but Collingwood may well be playing the media, I mean why would they tell the other clubs what there really thinking?
