To stop grassman75 ‘s head exploding with the mystery of it all … I’m walking the Bibbulmun Track (1000km) which is mostly in wilderness areas and national parks but does pass through some towns in WA’s southwest.

I happen to be in one of those towns tonight, but even as of this morning it wasn’t planned that way. When you walk a 1000km it’s inevitable that plans have to adapt along the way for one reason or another.

And yes no one has any idea who is winning. Not even me.

I expect to be back home by the end of June (roughly Rd 16) and will progressively update the leaderboard etc with the missing Pieman summaries.

After that I’m off on a much shorter trip to the Queensland outback (where I’m hoping to avoid the wrathful Grassman ) I am hoping I can provide continuous Pieman service through those couple of weeks. At worst it should be only one week held in abeyance.

All this (apart from the Qld bit) was in one of the opening posts of this thread.

Hope that clears things up and that Grassy can now sleep at night.

Not exactly. Grey nomads don’t usually walk 27km with a full pack through the forest like I did yesterday.

Another 18km today.

Back in town now though. To dodge tomorrow’s heavy rain. (Yeah, I know … I’m soft.)
