Pieman Substitutes

As it is Round 1 (well it's officially called Opening Round but we all know it's Round 1, or Round 0 if you like) the usual method of determining a Pieman sub doesn't apply. So it's simply the player who has the lowest handicap and is NOT currently in your team. If two potential subs are equal on handicap we will need a tie-breaker, so it's the one with lower jumper number.

That means the Pieman subs for this week (in order) are:

Aaron Naughton​

Rhylee West​

Jordan Croft​

Arthur Jones​

This might be an important consideration this week with both Darcy and Dale under a cloud.


Nominating your own sub preferences

I will also allow you to nominate your own preferred sub (not the one derived by any Pieman formula) at the time you post your team or any time after that up to the start of the match. For instance you could say your team is Darcy, Croft, Jones, Bont and Richards and if a sub is required you will take Libba (instead of Naughton who would have been your Pieman-supplied sub).
