PIEMAN RESULTS RD 22 v GWS

Lots of goals to go around again this week. So there should have been happy times all round. It was a 19 goal game and 11 different players scored goals. But some missed out with their intended bankers. The unfortunates were those who went for English - Jaxie, TedDougChris and Struggle. Jaxie even threw in another option and he didn't play either (Rhylee West).

Next Waiting went for English but was alert enough to nominate McLean as a late sub. Unfortunately it didn't do him any good. Oh, and then there was Scrag who also missed out (he went for Sweet) but we know that Scrag marches to a completely different drum.

Pieman Player of the Week
Taylor Duryea kicked his second goal of the year and duly won his second PPotW. That would have made Vinegar Mess, Boydshow and Vital Dread happy - they are the only ones to have Duryea in their team.

Pieman Player of the Year
The two Baileys keep moving up but Naughton continues to hold the field at bay.

The KELVIN
Long suffering grassman75 is our Kelvin winner this week thanks to his banker Josh Schache kicking three goals. He only just got there though, as debutant VitalDread was a solitary point behind him - and he did it without a banker too.

The PIEMAN
There was a very real chance that we would be in the home straight this week, but with a possible finals berth now looming (and a free banker for each final we play) the race is still very much open.

Nonetheless it was Curly5 keeping her foot on the throat with another high-scoring third place this week. This extends her lead to 69 points over TempletonTheRat. She outscored everybody else in the top 10 so none of them made any inroads.

Again, a special mention to Brassrazoo who has moved back into the top 10 without using a single banker all year. What could have been...
