Rumour Pies want Petracca

Melbourne have a brighter on field future than Collingwood, so if he wants on field success, Trac is better off staying at the Dees.

Hawthorn aside, hard to think of a team with worse/talentless youth than than Collingwood.

Doubt many players give a sh*t tbh. If Collingwood are offering a FA big coin they'll be super appealing.
You doubt many players give a s**t about getting paid what they got signed for ? Then the club dumps them citing that the senior players don't want them around ? Then tries to squirm out of a deal they did with another club once they shaft said player into having to move because their position is now untenable effectively trying to get out of the deal they did with the same player twice ??

you my friend have NFI lol

Collingwood, the very definition of a NON destination club.

They do get paid though? Treloar is not taking a pay cut, It's not as dramatic as you paint it.

It's not the pay that's the issue, it's how club treats it's star players tgats the crux of the issue. Tenor was brought over as the big signing. Yet in order to keep the big 3, they threw him under the bus with bullshit excuses. Mind u, if the big 3, only Grundy is actually important and we goey might get locked up for a while. What a bust.

Look at what Essendon put it's players through, Soon after we had Smith, Saad, Stringer, Shiel, Caldwell want to come, Players don't look at it like fans do.

Money makes them tick, If Merrett gets offered good coin to go to Collingwood and they appear to be in a better position for success than Essendon then do you really think he'll think about what happened with Treloar?

Ummm the players you have mentioned are all unwanted discards from other club. Sure, saad stepped up and is now at carlton

Yeah and I highly doubt his view means a lot to players Collingwood offer big contracts to going forward.

Maybe if they're contending, but these kind of actions usually have a detrimental impact on the playing group and more likely than not they'll be unable to replicate their form from 2018-2019, and they also now down a star player.

Basically my point, No player will turn Collingwood down because of what happened with Treloar, they'll turn them down if they look like a bad team going forward.

Just reinforced the point you have no idea, he's elite.

Ere no, he's your best player perhaps, elite lol. This shows you have no idea. Not that you have shown any insight in the first place.

These things are linked however. Collingwood aren't looking like world beaters currently AND just acrimoniously lost one of their best players.

I think Treloar is already an afterthought, any player who receives an offer from Collingwood will base their decision on what transpires in 2021 and with a view of 2022 and beyond.
