The bulldogs already had a strong midfield, adding another midfielder won't make them significantly better. Their forward line is the key, make that work and they could be onto something.

It's not the pay that's the issue, it's how club treats it's star players tgats the crux of the issue. Tenor was brought over as the big signing. Maybe if they're contending, but these kind of actions usually have a detrimental impact on the playing group and more likely than not they'll be unable to replicate their form from 2018-2019, and they also now down a star player.

I think Treloar is already an afterthought, any player who receives an offer from Collingwood will base their decision on what transpires in 2021 and with a view of 2022 and beyond.
