Not sure this is thread worthy but would like to get the opinions of others on this.
With the rumour that we're into Steele, Marchbank, Tomlinson & Stewart it got me thinking...
We could really be 'pioneers' of sorts by introducing a really physically big, agile team across the park...though you could argue North are already doing it and Freo have been known for their big midfield but i mean taking it to the next level.
Imagine a team including:
Backline: Weitering, Marchbank, Plowman, Rowe
Midfield: Cripps, Steele, Gibbs, Curnow, Kerridge, C Curnow, Tomlinson
Forwards: Stewart, Casboult, Everitt, McKay
We would be easily the biggest side in the comp...and maybe that can be a new frontier in footy?
All recent premiers have been pioneers and leaders in a new trend...eg Hawthorns zone and precision kicking, Geelongs handballing and fast corridor ball movement, Collingwoods forward press etc
I can see it working because all those tall guys are agile and can run, so we wouldnt be too slow.
