Democrats and Republicans in every state have been accused or charged with such offences, if it wasn't 11.30pm I'd start from Alabama all the way to Wyoming

How someone can hear of pedos and link it back to a political party rather than focus on the actual topic is a level of obsession with reps/dems I'll never understand

Right now in America the current President son has footage from a laptop of him with his own niece who was 14 years of age at the time of footage. Not just one clip but many.

FBI have it and so do the Chinese.

And has been on certain websites on the Internet pixelated out.

Insane. And completely getting away with it. Crazy

I think it's more to do with that these are the guys passing laws and enforcing such. But of course they're getting away with it

It is the same logic the media legitimised with the Kompromat - Trump Piss Dossier Conspiracy. Or Russia's evil omnipotence the media ran for the last 5 years.

The entire world media ran these as serious news - So everyone believed it was real.
The world media wanted to legitimise BLM and Antifa protests, burning and looting and so no one was alarmed
But the Capitol breach on the 6th of January, the same media decided this was serious armed insurrection, although none of those breaching the capitol were armed. Nevertheless, it goes down in history as domestic terrorism.

The common factor thru out all of this is the media consensus. It alone determines peoples view of an event, whether it is serious, criminal, a legitimate peaceful protest or domestic terrorism. How it is decided is arbitrary and tainted to forgiving the ostensible left, whilst condemning the ordinary citizens as extremists.

Add in the immeasurable inconsistencies surrounding the global event commonly known as COVID and suddenly suspecting there may be active satanic pedophile rings amongst the elite seems like an ordinary day at a news desk.

It seems that the sole purpose of all these bizarre narratives is to sow confusion and divisiveness. Truth is none of us are much different to each other. If you have ever been involved in a debate - it is quite incredible how passionate you can become over a random topic. The culture is badly in need of new rules to enable dialogue to progress past the bomb throwing and point scoring.

Whether this is possible on a broad scale - who knows - but it's certainly possible for each of us individually to try to understand the other and break through the fog. If anything, this might be the singular positive to be extracted from these last 12 months.

What's your criteria of evidence? Who will you ask to provide it? How will you determine what is fact or what is self serving fiction? Are voices being censored?
Why? Who is benefitting from the prevailing narrative or the trending narrative? Why?

These may seem like impossible daunting and a never ending sequence of questions to answer. The complexity is great and getting greater. Nevertheless, we actually have sound methods that enable us to travail through these minefields with some confidence. The free exchange of ideas - uncensored dialogue - has been enshrined in our constitutions, history, art and literature as the prescribed method. It's a fragile method but if protected it can harness our collective wisdom to achieve almost anything. Unfortunately, it's effectiveness is all to easily corrupted. Unless we are vigilant and very protective of this fragile process it fails.

There is an abundance of "evidence" on either side of contentious issues. Always will be - it's kind of the definition of contentious. I'm happy to hear an alternative, but understanding how all the various sides have reached their contentious perspective would seem to me an essential first step. Once and only once, you have a fair grasp of those various positions and carefully quarantined your own biases, can you hope to have a functional basis for determining the evidence - and even then - often enough the semblance of truth hangs on a balance of probabilities or on something that is temporarily no more than functional.

What we have right now is deeply corrupt. We know this simply because a sizeable proportion of the population is not being invited to participate in a free exchange of ideas - rather they are being censored, propagandised, shunned and demonised. Nothing good can come of this. It is barren soil, lacking in nutrients and over-run with toxic weeds.
