Yet that is probably barely scratching the surface of the actual numbers involved. I have no doubt that it is widespread in the darker corners and goes right through politics at both national and state level over there. It's how they keep each other quiet, because they are all involved, so if one leaks, they they will also be implicated in it therefore nobody speaks out.

What I don't get is how no higher ups at CBS thought it would be a bad idea for a network to present some pretty strange coincidences of the whole scandal, that could have huge implications at a government and mainstream media level. The whole thing reeks of either somebody with actual knowledge of the situation with enough pull at the station serving a big **** you to upper management to actually give the OK to presenting such an unbiased segment that looked at the eery coincidences that no other channel would cover, or that this whole thing is a distraction for something more sinister.

What's even weirder is that they'd think that it couldn't further hurt their reputation by not going on with business like always with Swann; it's not like he alleged anything or spread any misinformation. For him to go completely off the radar shows that CBS are either high school news level in terms of journalistic professionalism, or that they're covering up something.

The later, for sure....How many interviews by reporters on 9/11, live at the scenes, only ever aired once before being shelved for good?
