Is he seriously colour-blind because he turns it over by foot and hand so many times.

It's a shame he can't use the ball, because as a big man he gets himself into some good spots.

A few errant handballs but no worse than anyone else. He really has some beautiful lace out kicks at times. Still it was good to have Jamar back for the customary big man game.

He's actually not too bad a kick for a tall player but he is no surgeon either and that's the problem, he tries to kick like one. He is still trying to impress the world with difficult pinpoint passes that aren't there or coughing it up directly under pressure.

I could have shot him tonight.

My ass his efficiency was at 59%.

The man has the football brain of a dog shit.
That's right, he doesn't play the percentages. His actual kicking action/ability is reasonably good up to about 40 - 45 meters. Tonight he certainly give it up a fair bit though. It's a problem because people see him rack up possies and think how great he is but he is mincing forward 50 passes when some of our other mids should have had the ball instead. I saw a throw in up forward tonight and instead of PJ tapping the ball to McLean, McLean grabbed the ball in mid air and then hand balled to a flat footed PJ under the pump and he naturally minced it. So much of our game is like a dogs breakfast at times.

Definitely tries to do too much, however if he can learn to play within his limitations, he has the ball-winning ability to become a pretty good player.

Four straight weeks with 20+ touches, just needs to work on that efficiency.

He did really let himself down with his disposal at times tonight - one out of bounds on the full from point-blank range within a few metres of me sticks in the memory.

It's disappointing, because he's capable of much better than that, and has shown it before now. Hopefully his low-lights tonight were just an aberration though.

seemed very relevant to bring this up again. 2 direct turnover goals from PJ. black and white is very similar to red and blue so maybe he is colour blind...

These last two weeks have completely turned my Jamar v PJ view towards Jamar. Maybe PJ will lift but holy jebus he was rubbish today (amongst many more others)

Thought his ruckword was better than it had been still. Yet around the ground he has turned into a muppet. Has lost all idea what he is meant to be doing out there. If we end up with two Jamar's I'll take the original version (who dominated the hit outs today - midfielders didn't use his good work).

I'd drop PJ but I'm not sure if Spencer is ready for a game. Also I don't want to go back to Martin.

Strongly agree with the first two points. Jamar's ruckwork was good, but our boys couldnt get their hands on it.

With Martin I assume you mean you dont want him back in the ruck? If so definately but we're crying out for him to go straight back into the backline after today.

its not all that bad, pj's leading the competition for 'opposition goal assists'. that's surely something to build on :thumbsu:
hahahah

Todays stats (these are correct)

Collingwood goal assists:

D Swan - 4

B Dick- 3

Paul Johnson- 2

So he was their third most instrumental forward playmaker old PJ!

Certainly it's difficult to understand just how PJ's gotten himself into this mess since last season. Almost seems like we had a different player in 2008.

The problem with PJ is that he is getting the ball in situations where he quite simply shouldn't. Some times I just wonder wtf he is doing in certain areas of the ground getting the ball under pressure and trying to do mercurial things that aren't there. I've said it for a while but I am not sure if he is getting the guidance he should be - too often he is playing out of his means.

The problem is he thinks he's Dean Cox, when in reality he's closer to Peter Street..
