No dale Thomas for me... There aren't many players we can target but I still think Jack Watts is who we should seriously try for! I'd give melbourne our second round pick + player or two for him (Ellard, Watson, Joseph.. Etc)... He's young and we can hopefully de-Melbourne him enough. Plus with Hogan, Clarke, Dawes in their forward line in 2014 if we get into watts ear enough he's more of a lock to be in our forward line than melbournes.

I'd love a crack at Watts and I reckon a change of scenery is what he needs. Unfortunately, I think his price just doubled yesterday, and we're not going to get him for a second-rounder plus VFL spuds. Melbourne already have enough of those on their list.

Hopefully Mumbles loses control of the team like Neeld did, otherwise I don't think Watts will leave, or if he does the price will be too high. I would happily swap our first round pick for him right now, assuming we finish somewhere around 8 - 10. He'll come good with a proper coach, a decent team around him and a settled position in the forward line. He could comfortably be the 50+ goal a season tall we are crying out for.

Jesse White would be perfect for us and we should accommodate for him by moving Waite into the backline?

Kill me now.

Jesse White is hopeless. How some people continue to bring his name up as a possible target is beyond me. He would be of absolutely no value to us.

Yes because Waite is such an important player, Kill me now what is this shit.

I'm 90% confident this list will be having its biggest cleanout in its history at the end of the year.

I believe we brought Malthouse in because we figured he would have a year to observe this list up closely and see whose good enough and whose not, and those that fall under the latter will be in the firing line.

There's no way we can be running around with so many defensive players in our side, i.e Carrazzo, Cachia, Curnow and Armfield. And I'm not sure you have 3 quick small forwards in the forard line.

I'm not sayin trade all of them, but we are screaming out for some balance and class on our list.

I'm already looking forward to the off season because I think it could define our football club.

I am really looking forwards to the end of year, I can't wait to hear some of the howls of indignation when someone favorite champion gets traded for a few bags of spuds.
We should start looking at our own list and identify the spuds we have and we should also remember who the spud was who recruited this riff raff and signed off on their recruitment.
The end of this season marks a new beginning for Carlton and failure to grasp the opportunity will see our window slam shut for another 10 years.

#BeNavy - agree with your comments but wonder if we have been developing our players in the wrong positions.
Yarran would have been more beneficial for us on the wing but needs a bigger tank to do that.
Gibbs should be a full time mid. Cachia and Carrazzo should be our shutdown guys and the other mids should be 'hunters' of the ball.
Robbo or Bell should be stationed beside either Judd or Murph and told to clear some space for them.
Garlett and Betts should be rotating through the midfield more.
