PowerOfThePussy
Cancelled
What are peoples plans for their remaining trades. I know most like to keep a few for the finals, but with the injuries this week, I think a lot of people will be out of trades completely come finals time (myself included).
I only have the 2 injury concerns this week with Ablett and Porplysia (Deledio and JB hopefully will come up), so I haven't been hit as hard as others, but it still forces my hand with some of the bargains on offer at the moment.
I am thinking of trying something a bit different with my last 4 trades and was interested in peoples thoughts on the strategy. I have no playing reserves in the centres with Myers and Armfield, so I was thinking about grabbing Kane Johnson to serve as a reserve mid for the remainder of the year as he is so cheap. With 2 other trades I am going to trade Porplysia to Franklin and Lloyd to ROK (to make the necessary cash). My final trade will hopefully be Morton to Lucas or someone around his price range as a forward reserve.
So in essence I will be adding 2 pretty good players to my bench as opposed to using rookies when I need a fill in. My ruck reserves are nonexistent, so that is the place it could all backfire but i think a lot of people are in the same boat there. So I guess what I'm asking is - is it a waste having these good players on the bench?
If I did it, my team would look like this:
B: H. Shaw, Milburn, Gilbee, Johncock, S Fisher, Chornes, Bradshaw (Wilkes, SDT)
C: Ablett, Bartel, Dal, Kornes, Cross, Stevens (K. Johnson, Armfield)
R: Cox, Simmonds (West, Meesen)
F: Franklin, JB, Chappy, NG Brown, Deledio, Riewoldt, ROK (Lucas, Gamble)
Sorry for the long post, but would just like to get some feedback on the idea of having very good players on the bench as opposed to rookies. Also interested to hear what other people are planning on doing with the remainder of their trades.

though and all the other coaches who kept him, but with Port no hope now, he will surely end his season early.
