Perhaps Geelong should play home games at Adelaide Oval as we have more capacity than the cattery...Bizarre Geelong get home games at MCG to avoid fans being locked out but then there is outcry when someone suggests the Showdown be played there.

Yes and no on the NRL thing.I'm all for extra MCG matches for non-Victorian sides, but we should get those games against actual MCG tenants.
This sounds like that stupid proposal (which they are now going ahead with) in rugby land. Play an entire round at one venue for some weird commercial purpose even though it involves both sets of fans being hundreds of miles away. It is patently dumb on its face.
