Now you've done it.Good player, let’s not get carried away. Good luck.
He was often the 'how'd they get out of that' player with quick hands and smart tap ons which often go unnoticed. He was an amazingly under-rated contested ball winner - not in numbers but qualityA brilliant player and fantastic person.
Shedda did things that you missed because he was so quick and did stuff you just didn't expect. He is/was a leader in turning the team from a rabble into a dynasty.
Great career and hopefully he'll leave with 4 premiership medals.

Why not get carried away?Good player, let’s not get carried away. Good luck.

Our low numbers of possessions etc. have made a lot of our players look less than they actually were, we should be a biker club with all the 1%ers we get.He was often the 'how'd they get out of that' player with quick hands and smart tap ons which often go unnoticed. Now you know why you're not an AFL coachI'm no AFL coach but think he was not as good as Cyril Rioli

sort of like Petracca on the Demons board?Good average player. Probably a player worthy of a thread on the Richmond board.

What does Petracca have to do with this thread?sort of like Petracca on the Demons board?![]()
Nothing. What does Petracca have to do with this thread?

What does a good average player or the Richmond board have to do with this thread?
Sheds is a 300 game, All Australian triple premiership player well beyond good average.
Not sure if it's worth a thread, but Edwards got me thinking - who is the worst player to play 300 games? Obviously a player has to be reasonably good to play 300, but it's more about being at least average for a very long time.
Shane Edwards is probably the worst of in the last few decades. I don't know anything about Garry Foulds, so he must be right up there.
Wow - not sure if I will recover from that. Here's two for your list
David Neitz
Nathan Jones
Jones is proof you dont need to pass grade 6 English to be able to play footy. Guy can barely get 5 words in a row out. Here's two for your list

Why are you even bothering with this thread. its here to celebrate a champion of the game?Wow - not sure if I will recover from that.
Neitz was always severely overrated. Very good club player, not a champion of the game. He would be at the bottom group of 300 game players, but comfortably ahead of Edwards.
Nathan Jones in another side would be at least a 3 time All Australian, was tagged every week and never played a bad game.

98 players have played 300 games and only 8 indigenous surely that's worth a thread, its not as if we pay by the word. You are right, not worth a thread.
Why does every bloody thread have to have a negative spin on it. The blokes played 300 games & reached the pinnacle of the sport 3 times. He's had more of a career than most who have had the privilege of playing at the highest level.
Why cant it be left at that?
