The feeling is that creating a new thread for each player in the team would be an untidy clutter in the players board.
I am not so certain - I intend to merge the threads with the existing player threads at the end of the season.
The new threads would push the old threads back off the first two pages
then at the end of the year we could merge them and start all over again

This is true. Would give each player advocate a better feeling of ownership being able to create their own thread instead of jumping on threads that are 3-4 years old.

Then to keep it cleaner the mods could create a sub-forum with a title such as 'Player Advocacy Board 2015' where each individual player threads stay?

I think we can all create our own thread in the player board (not a new subforum)
I am in the process of organising a new prefix for the Player Advocate threads

We can't give the advocates extra powers like a mod, but maybe they can have extra rights

Maybe they get to have full say on who posts in their thread and who doesn't but it would still require contacting a mod to rectify the unwanted post/s
