Hi Bomber fans. I am selecting for your club in the Collingwood board phantom draft. If anyone has some suggestions regarding the names or types of players the club should draft at each of your picks, I would be grateful for any assistance you can give me. You can PM me or reply here, though I don't want to clutter up your thread. If it is likely that a later pick will be used for a rookie upgrade, I would love to know. I will of course read through this and other relevant threads for information. Thanks folks.

Best available in my view. Our deficiencies would be a half forward/mid to replace Chapman long term. True crumbling forward, maybe a project tall as well (ruck or full forward)

Our KPF depth is getting thin so somebody like a Trent Dumont, Mitch Harvey or Jono Marsh. 2nd pick would be best available ruckman. Our 3rd pick will be upgrading Lauchlan Dalgleish and we won't use the rest.

Like Merrett, O'Brien, Edwards possibly and even Watson or Goddard may be playing as more of fwd/mids at a later stage of their career. That's actually our second best area we have in terms of depth

Haha nah I was talking more along the lines of being good defensively and having a reputation of high character and being coachable. I can't see us pulling the trigger on him at 26 and he's not likely to be around at our next pick

With Weller.... If the spot is available what risk is there signing him to a basic 1 or 2 year contract? We don't need to trade to get, we could potentially use a late pick or PSD pick (IF we have one) and see what happens, it may not work out, but it hasn't cost us an arm and a leg in the process of finding out

A Taylor Adams style of forward/mid. Tough to get them at 26 though. I would just pick best available.
