I'm starting to think it'll be Merrett at 26 barring anyone really good who slides through unexpectedly.

really warming to Jimmy Tsitsas, hope we can get our hands on him somehow, has Hannebery/Parker written all over him.

The Swans have been linked pretty strongly to Merrett too so I'm not confident he'll slide to us. I'd love us to get him though.

Is Bontempelli a risk of turning into that sort of Jack Watts 'too big for a midfielder, too small for a KPP' zone and being useless despite having amazing skills?

definite high 'bust' factor, also probably has the highest ceiling in the draft. could be another Hird/Kouta with that kind of versatility, but could also end up being another Tony Notte

Personally I don't think any of the highly 'ranked' kids that are Ruck/KPF that would realistically be available at Pick #26 are worth it.. you can find heaps of options for bigger guys as long term project players via Rookie or #55..

Still think a classy kid at #26 is the way to go, preferably one that knows how to kick goals too...

With our 'window' opening next season then we need kids who will make an impact in the next 2-3 seasons.. not a skinny KPF that may take 5-6 years to develop if he does...

With our window opening next year that's why we got people like chapman/Goddard. What we need to look at doing is still draft project players to look at extending that window so they are redy to step up in 3 years and keep us at the top.

Picks 6-20 will be interesting (obviously minus McDonald).

Top 5 seems to be pretty much set in stone. Boyd, Kelly, Billings, Bontempelli, Kolodjashnij.

Midway through the year, it would have been absurd to have not seen Aish and Scharenberg there.
Kolodjashnij and Bontempelli have really shot up the ranks!

Is Crouch any chance of sliding past Adelaide?

Crows could go tall, Giles or Cameron if they're there would be hard to pass up, theres also Dumont and Dunstan who are both south aussies and good inside mids.

Add to that Hewitt whonis rising late fast the hawks are keen at 23 the crows could attempt to trump at 23. Recruiters love the 'youngest' kid in the draft saying at the end when theyve picked them up.

id be stokedwith crouch he seems a curse of the daniel rich syndrome. Will be interesying to see where McCarthy now falls im not keen but he could be a slider if hes there at 26 wed have to take him.

Drunk?

Really praying that Dumont slides to our pick. Could be another Zaharakis, second rounder who barracks for Essendon.

Would be wrapped.

However I think Disco will do a good job no matter who we get. Has been spot on the money of late.
