A 17-year-old Dustin Fletcher on draft day waiting for his name to be called by the Bombers!

Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Mate, they would be picking for needs, like you have been suggesting with Marsh. The DESPERATELY NEED a KPF. Plain and simple. McCarthy ain't bad, so they should snare him.
Hardly a unique thought though.
Billings has been locked in for weeks. Which of Aish and Scharenberg goes at 6 and which at 7 is the only question in the top 8.

Picks 6-20 will be interesting (obviously minus McDonald).
Top 5 seems to be pretty much set in stone. Boyd, Kelly, Billings, Bontempelli, Kolodjashnij.
I'd say Sikora training with us perhaps signals that our draft intentions are focused on a KPF or mid/half-forward as a priority. Sikora's name might be announced next week (?).It is interesting that EVERY year for the past five, I think the bombers have said they are 'looking for a ruckman' in the draft.. only never to find one..!!
As I see it, we would need both Paddy AND TBC to go down to need a replacement, if one goes down then we probably pay the other with JD pinch hitting in the ruck..
Fletcher also could be used, very very sparingly, as a back up ruckmen if the unthinkable were to happen.
Additionally, the chances of ANY ruckmen taken with pick #26 or later being ready to play (even as a backup) next year are slim to none..
No. typing from phone and didnt bother to re read.Drunk?
Who gave us the late mail on Ashby last year were spot on i think it may have been Twomey. Id be pretty happy with him, very happy something a bit different and i like what i saw in the highlights real. Geelong apparently like him at 36 and everything the cats like turns to gold so he must be alright.Twomes reckons Lang is our man at 26, thinks we'll go a mid at that pick as he expects Apeness to be gone

Can't believe you forgot Alessio. Booooooo!Only if your expecting immediate impact, but we have the luxury of not making that a priority...
I'd rather take a ruck that is going to be dominant in 4-5 years time than an average plodder...
You still need ruck depth, Cats had it Ottens, West, King, Simpson, Mumford and that other guy (mind blank)
Lions had it with Keating, Mcdonald, the guy who dislocated his shoulder and Hille helped him out (boy im getting forgetful)
Fremantle have it with Sandilands, Clarke, Griffin, Bradley to an extent.
Hawks are getting it now with Mcevoy and Hale.
We use to have it Madden, Salmon, Somerville and Barnes.
Just because Sydney doesn't follow a particular model doesn't make it right.
I know it says the draft starts at 6, but with Vlad's ability to fumble over syllables, and his deliberate fluffing things out, what time will the first pick be made?
Redneck time.Is it at 6 o'clock Melbourne time or 6 o'clock backward redneck Queenslander time?
Yes it is.Is this covered on SEN or some shit?

Praying 4 Garlett

I don't mind him at 55. Using 26 on him seems a waste if it seems he's likely to be around later.
