Great advice. So much so that I already have both

Just feel as though Swan may have a better year than Kornes. Would keep either for the whole year so want to choose wisely. The problem remains i guess, Thompson and Swan or Sidebottom and Kornes, haha

Wait to Friday, if Thompson isnt elevated then go option two. I just dont think Sidey will play much in the first half of the year.

IMO Cross and Harvey. Swan has a slight advantage over Cross but Harvey looks way better than Stokes for scoring potential and consistency. Stokes had a poor final 2 nab cup games and Harvey doesnt seem to ever miss a beat.

Cheers, i failed to consider the friday rookie cutoff. I Feel the same way about Sidebottom though, hesitant to have him from round one for a princely 110k when he might not make an impact for a while...

Geary has done well in the Nab cup, averaging around about 70.

Looks to have found a spot in the Saints Best 22.

Think I'm going with a straight Grimes ---> Krakouer swap (with Houlihan switching), but now am left with final 2 positions... 4th mid and 4th back

1) J Selwood & Bock
2) Gibbs & Enright

Had Gibbs locked in, but now there's all this talk about him tagging a bit more... ahhh, the headaches!

my forward line reads:

richo, deledio, pavlich, chappy and stevy J as premiums.

i am considering brining in franklin, which would mean i have to remove either deledio or pavlich (richo i want to keep and chappy & stevy J cannot be upgraded as they are not worth enough to do a swap).

so the question is, which two would you select out of pav lids and franklin?

I have been tossing up between those two since DT opened. I originally had Rich starting, Otten as reserve, but I then decided I was going to play Otten ahead (because I think he has a much higher scoring potential) and have Rich as reserve incase Otten wasn't selected. Then I decided that $126k was to much to have sitting on the pine so at this stage I will start both of them (hope that L.Anthony or Beams can get some games).

I think Otten will definately get early games, but I'm unsure whether he'll keep his place.

Jed Adcock IMO.

30k cheaper, but I reckon he'll get plenty of ball down back for Brisbane. They seem to be playing higher possession football, and I think he's one that will definitely improve on last year. I had him as a lock to start with, then I had doubts, but he's back in my team now.


Here's one, for the 6th forward spot - Hentschell as 7th fwd.

Krakouer or Yarran + 60k

That 60k would go to upgrading Swan to Bartel, and Newman to Bock... or Richo to Pav, Newman to Enright, Swan to Corey.

Thoughts?

Go Yarran. It will only take Krak one bad game and he'll find himself struggling to hold his spot in the 22, happens every year to the poor bloke. Yarran will most likely play round 1 and Carlton need another small forward to help out Betts so should play plenty of games this year.

Daysy - Kornes definately. Doesnt get tagged (hes a tagger). Solid scorer and had a low avg last year due to all ports injuries and problems.
Nurioopta - Hasleby & Bock/Newman both good choices IMO.
