Really depends what players are in your back, ie. Injury prone or not. And what your other mids are.

Probably the second if you have a few players in the backs who you don't fully trust.

Second one for me.

Not sure about Grimes but if he gets a run then the second one.

Not sure on McPhees role either.

First one could pay off though, if McIntosh ans Sylvia become keepers. Houli also has the potential to be a keeper.

I had Gram but then i realise that he is actually injured!

I like the look of lockyer and his first game in nab cup was very impressive, 149 points!

For around Birchalls price i would go either Lockyer or Gilbee

I thought pendles has looked really good in preseaon so far but not sure if he has the potential to improve on that greatly. Swan is reliable and a great optoin for captain as well.
Thoughts please.

I can see upsides and downsides in both options.

Pendles is going to be awesome this year as a player, but I'm not too sure about him from a DT perspective. He can get 30 touches in a game and only get 90 points. I'd go with Swan since you know he will consistently score well and should easily average more than Pendles.
