what do u guys think is better

n.brown didak gia - this i hav $0 in the kitty
vs
fev delidio harvey ? - this i hav 21,700
Option 1, since I can't see Fev improving too much on last year.

McMahon vs Bock

I'm thinking McMahon because of Richmond's style of play and he is a running defender. What do others think? Cheers.

^ lol

S. Fisher and J. Gram VS C. Enright and H. Shaw

Keep in mind I already have Goddard and Cornes, so that would be 3 Saints defenders for the first option. This would be for my other higher end defenders spots.

i think the most dangerous positions this year will be the 7th 8th 9th backline players.
Lots of people seem to be going with
Hill, Suban, Petrenko
Personally i have gone with Collier instead of Petrenko just to be safe
What has everyone else done?
Interestingly, I have gone with a somewhat different structure as well in the backline. I have 4 premiums ($370-400k range), Adcock, Houlihan and Raines with Suban/Broughton on the bench. I have not included Hill, for the reason you mention... they're risky positions. I just don't see enough talent in the rookies to justify playing a rookie on the field.

On the flipside however, this means that I am forced to start 2 rookies in the midfield... This is probably where I need some help. Atm my rookies are Rich and Otten on the field, with Anthony and Robinson/Beams as backup.

Maybe it's worth me upgrading Otten to Hill? I know people have said it is stupid to get Hill in the mids, but as I'm reluctant to play a rookie in the backs then it might mean I miss out on Hill. Alternatively, I could get Hill on the bench instead of Broughton, and put the other of Robinson/Beams in the mids, but I would potentially rely on them playing if Anthony doesn't play.

Interested to hear people's thoughts. Cheers!

I've bolded my picks...

Fisher was a lock in my team as he is very consistent and drives the saints backline.

Broughton, simply due to the fact he got elevated and is 22yo so should get games...

Adcock - as long as he can regain some form he should be a good pick, with less injury concerns than Drummo. Also, Brisbane appear to be playing possession style footy, and you can never trust a docker unless it's pav or a rookie!

Hentschell - Just because he's a bit more experienced and is assured of games.

Brown & Walker - both have shown a lot in the PS, so should be definitely in the 22 for their teams.

Cheers for the advice i love the bold comment, and its true

I don't care how you do it, get Hill. Absolutely gunned it in the PS for a rookie and if he isn't a lock for the Dockers best 22 throughout the season ahead of hacks lile Thornton, Gilmore and Peake who could take his spot then Harvey needs his head checked. FWIW he's my 7th back ATM with Suban and Broughton as backup.

At the moment I'm also starting Otten and Rich with Anthony Beams/Robinson as backup. I also have four premiums but instead of Adcock I have Hill starting in the backline with Petrenko/Broughton as cover.

yeh guys... i know this one's probably been up like 10 times already...

but yarran vs Hentschel...

hentschel will be more likely to play, but yarran seems like he would score better...

I am looking at the same thing, my take on it is Neil Craig has comitted to playing Hentschel so that has him in front for me slightly. Yarren should play but not a lock in the 22. The last nab game i read the overview on afl website that had fev with 4 and yarren with 2 and thought he must have scored well, but scored 27.

Hentschel has got better each week, put up a 74 but that was against box hill, and scored 58 last week against Sydney. I would be happy with a 60 average from Trent, would see him roughly double in price.

Injury is the risk with Hentschel obivously. Looking at his history on fanfooty i think he can average 60, and he has played 18-19 games each year so hopefully be enough to upgrade him early.

Richardson or pavlich??
not sure who to go out of these 2

also

Fevola or a dale thomas + extra 40k

i have 98,000 in the bank currently, should i upgrade fevola to like a didak or harvey?

W Thompson hasn't been promoted yet, so it would have to be the second option.

That's handy to know. What if you took Yarran and W Thompson out of the equation?

should i go cox + white and have 170k to spend on my team
or
downgrade cox to petrie and get hille as well with about 20k left?

im not so big on cox now since he did not play the last 2 nab cup games and none of the ruck have scored high this nab cup with the new rule. with having petrie and hille they can both get goals which might boost up their scores.
anyone?

Boak or Knights?

My team is finalised, but i just cant split these 2. I've got boak currently, but im starting to lean towards knights. Any advice?

i would say knights... he's been around longer, and seems to be in huge form... if you look at his end to last season he got lyk 6 100-140's near the end or something like that...
