Depending on other mids...
Cross and Swan is the safe option so you're not relying on a 120 avg from Ablett

I already have locked in Broughton!
I'd go Mackie easily and definitely Cross and Swan by a mile ablett is a gun but cant make up for pearce. I would probably say
G. Ablett (120 ppg)
Pearce (70-85ppg)
Cross (100 ppg)
Swan (110 ppg)
an easy gain of 30-40 points if u pick cross and swan in my opinion.
Otten + Giansaricusa or Pavlich + Anthony
this one is really tough and would love some peoples thoughts

Have the same problem and went with suban because there is a very high liklihood of suban or broughton playing.

Ideally we want both bench players playing
Its just a matter of picking the right 2!
I dont think Hill/Suban/Broughton will all get games at the same time though.

am i insane? i can afford either franklin or stevy j and seriously leanign towards stevey J-my forwards are stacked so whoever misses out cant come in all year.

Rich or Polkinghorne (sp?) I wanna go with the 2nd option just be different opposed to a lot of teams having Rich.

Haven't heard too much about Embley, if he can recapture the form he used to have then all means he would be worth it but you've seen Lockyers pre season he is the safe bet. I took Lockyer out because he can play some great games but hes a player thats prone to getting like 60's quite a number of times.

I just think Green is capable of like 100's week in week out, Goodwin may be up and down. Then you got Hentschel who may do well or may just collapse, Krak's been in good preseason form. Last is harvey vs chaps and yeah bit even there. Really not sure :/

i reckon option 1, not sold on lockyer being back to 90-100 avg.
only upside of option 2 is ur picking up another keeper in Hille, unless you plan on keeping McIntosh?
anyway, who will have a greater IMPROVEMENT this season.

Last year selwood got consistent scores, however with knights, if you subtract his games in which he came back from injury and got injured (just assumed by span of games not palyed) his avg is up around 90.

Its a tough one mate, the thing with Selwood and Geelong in general is i think he and Ablett will cop the heaviest tag as they are the most damaging when they get the pill, the question is can players stop them. I would be leaning towards Knights and saving some cash... Unique in the sence that most teams in most leauges will have Selwood at that 400k price tag.

Looking at my 7th forward spot. Still thinking about swapping a few things around to avoid these players altogether, but who would you choose?
Ziebell will probably score the highest, but is the least likely to play. Hentschel is best 22, but injury prone (recos and the soft tissue stuff). Choco has said that Thompson is close to best 22, and has been training superbly. He also fills a positional hole, but as the Power play on Sunday, I wont know if he made the final 22 by lockout.

tbh i hav zeibell and krak in my starting line up... but with zeibel i have NO idea if he is guna play, its guna come down to personal choice, im thinkn zeibell has to play, the supporters pressure on the hype of zeibell will hav to make laidley play him, but who noes.
