thats a tough one... both in teams that benefit the player as well. this is one of those toss the coin type questions, you just dont know.

I have a similar issue. Not happy with my back rookies and having to start hill.
Currently i have as my cheap backs and mids:
Backs - Hill, Broughton, Cheney
Mids - Butler, Rich, Otten, Anthony
I am thinking i should trade Butler down to another rookie mid (ie. Beams) and then upgrade Cheney to Petterd.
Really not sure!
Rookie backs look problematic so it might be best to only have more rookies in the mids instead?

Butler and Knights are both injury risks and could both average the same.
It also gives me the cash to upgrade McIntosh to Simmonds.
Knights not so much though!
I have knights...so i believe he will dominate..have watched him precariously throughout the offseason..i rate highly!!
Butler will provide some benefit..but i see knights outclassing him!!
Also Mcintosh to simmonds..nbot much of an upgrade!!
Cant see simmonds doing to much tonight!!

Ill be honest I don't know a lot about Collier. Petrenko I can't trust to retain his spot with all the players set to return.
If you think Butler is a good option for me then you should go him as well

No, won't be an issue at all. I'd have gone first just because Bartel/Skipworth are superior to Cross/Hentschel. Butler is definitely the weak link in that.
Waiting for the Brisbane team to come out. Collier definitely has greater job security but he does cost 70K more.
Bit uncertain about Butler's durability but I only really need him to play first 6-8 games before I upgrade him. And he could average similar to Travis Tuck so not losing much there.

so does Knights>butler offset Skipworth>hentschel and Bartel>cross? Who knows.
Also, I'll have to trade Butler but I'd keep knights.
I'm worried I have too much risk. I've drawn a line through Tuck... just too expensive for what you think he'll do.
Hentschel or ziebell for seventh forward? thats how risky it is.

Definately think ziebell has better scope. IMO knights does offset the above situation. Really rate the kid
