It would appear so as hard as that would seem.

Will change the title of this thread and make it a dedicated thread to bring up comparisons between players because it is something that happens fairly often.

I think Smith wins the above fairly comfortably.

Glenn McGrath the batsmen v Justin Langer the bowler.

Having never seen Langer bowl I can only assume his 5 FC wickets and 7 LA wickets were a thing of beauty and if given more of a chance may have flourished as a part timer slightly better than Ricky Ponting but not quite as good as Mark or Steve Waugh.

But on the evidence of McGrath's test 50 I'll give the nod to him in this comparison...
