Who is the bloke with the rough head?
Hey AWG, you teaching in "the Town"? (GTH '73-'76)Not player, but half the parents of kids I teach either used to play footy with Bolts or were coached by him or went to school with him, so I'm pretty much in.
You've got it back to front. Pass the ice pipe, wink & go from there.Shake, reverse shake, fist pump, nod, thumb war, wink, pass the ice pipe.....

So what "vintage" are you?OMG THe Town! It's where I'm from!

Sounds like we have some "connections" of our own around here.
Pretty sure Bolts' dad Lyndon was in the hardware game, but may have spent some time at Temco (plenty did).this particular rep of the Blueseum was born in Lonny in lived in GT until 1988, before moving to Melbourne.
I know this is player connections but ....
I think Bolt's dad used to work at Temco where he worked with my Dad

You didn't mention age, (I'm just a year younger than Thy, so not young) I left GT late '80. Long time gone. Some FB stalking in recent times has shown plenty of old acquaintances. Obviously never knew Bolts. Quite surprising the boys in the AFL these days with links to George Town (premiership player this year....trivia).
So at least 3 of us on here with tenuous coach connections.
Would have thought you would be a bit young to remember our Danny in his prime (went to school..year behind and played someBorn in 75..... many brothers at PLA amd Temco and Comalco
We left GT in 88.
Nankervis!
Follows Green.... good GT boy. When I was a kid the only sports hero was Danny Clark!
Not sure of the duration reference, but one hell of a rider.duration cyclist?
Yep was a "superstar" over there. One year brought a number of European stars with him for the Coastal Carnivals. Had tothink he used to keep winning those crazy european endurance races - 6 days or something nuts like that - total ironman......
Would have thought you would be a bit young to remember our Danny in his prime (went to school..year behind and played some
footy with a brother) Watched that legendary Wheel race (Burnie I think, one of the coastal carnivals anyway) seen some great
sporting moments....it was up there.
