Saturday's win and Freo's thumping are all good for our Jesse! Hopefully it all continues to go the way it's going!!

Also further illustrates how desperate Freo will be to lure Jess back home.

He'd be stupid to leave now though, i dont think melbourne have ever been sexier than they are at the moment, and Freo look incredibly vanilla and one-paced.

We're sexy? Well I am obviously but as a group? Awesome!

Yeah that is one way of looking at it I suppose but with Sandy ageing they'll want to find a reasonable ruckman to give their mids first use going forward.
And why would big Jesse want to be the frontman of a gameplan that doesn't kick any goals!

My personal thoughts on those coming out of contract at the end of the year

Chris Dawes - needs to produce 3 out of 4 good games or so upon return from injury
Jeff Garlett - re-sign asap
Jack Grimes - looking unlikely
James Harmes - re-sign asap
Jayden Hunt
- watch this space
Neville Jetta - re-sign asap
Matt Jones - no need to rush on decision
Dean Kent
- extend but no more than 2 years
Max King - rookie - jury's out
Viv Michie (Assumed as a demoted rookie) - jury's out, but clearly they like something about him
Oscar McDonald (Assumed, as a 2014 draftee) - give him an extension so he can relax and focus on development (in the 2s)
Tom McDonald - convince (somehow) to re-sign asap
Cameron Pedersen - if he plays well, reward him with extension before year's out
Jake Spencer - later spencil
Dean Terlich - later terls
Jack Trengove - watch this space
Bernie Vince (Performance Optioned to 2017) - done
Joshua Wagner (Assumed as a 2015 rookie) - no need to rusg
Jack Watts - re-sign asap
Mitchell White - rookie - jury's out

There is no way we can get rid of Spencer or any ruckman, if Gawn goes down we only have Spencer and the the 2 raw King boys as replacements.

At the end of the year we can? And we can pick up an experienced ruckman from either state league or discarded by another Club?

Disregarded by another club would most likely be on the same level as Spencer. Spencer averaged 24.71 hit outs in 2015 which was the 15th highest average in the league. With 18 teams there are teams with worse ruckman in their best 22, Spencer is a very handy reserve ruckman for when Gawn misses a few games. Gawn will aways be best 22 and Spencer is capable of filling in.

I think we should re-sign Spencer. He'll be holding out for a 2 year deal imo, I reckon we'll probably offer 1.

Several clubs I think will come with offers for him. I suspect if anyone offers him a 2 year deal he'll walk. He might not be the best but he's definitely more valuable to us than people realize.

Give us a re-signing please... anyone... Can even be Matt Jones on a new 5yr contract I don't care. Just a sign that the players are as confident in the club's future as the supporters are.

Also, at what stage of the season do we normally see our early picks offerered contract extensions ie Brayshaw and I think it might have been Toumpas before him? Oliver a chance to sign on for more?

Kent's management wanted to sign a new contract with the Dees at the start of the season but the club decided to put talks off because he was coming off a long injury and wanted him to prove himself this year. Some rivals are trying to sound him out.

I'll chain myself to the goalposts at Casey fields if I have too

But to be fair he looks stronger and way fitter than ever before so maybe this worked

Free agency list - I like the write-up on Nifty Nev, look forward to his signing
Jack Watts important if his formline continues, I think the club may wait a bit to ensure that happens
Spencil important for depth. Grimesy I could take or leave at this point, it's a bit of a sad story

Nev is certain to say. been at the club for a long time, and worked really hard to forge a career here when he looked gone. Was a key part in getting Jeffy here too, can't see him leaving. Lock him away
