Well enjoy whatever he signs but it wont be a contract with your lot as the next signing will be with us as he is coming home and will play for the Dockers.

Anything would be better than playing with your mob of losers. He will want to play with the AFL's superstar Nat Fyfe when he comes home as Fyfe will be Captain in 2018 if not before. We move into a new Training and Admin. Facility in early 2017 unlike your mob who don't have such luxuries. Weegs can't get funding for a new facility and built their Gym in
a carpark so why would Hogan go to the Slime (The WeGirls).

Youre a shit boring side with limited opportunities to kick goals due to Ross Lyon's floodathon. If he wants to play with a pack of losers he might as well just stay with us, you offer him nothing new.

I agree with Topkent , he'd be much better off at WCE where he can kick some goals and have some success if he wants to go back to WA.

Im very thankful that a franchise of failure like Freo appears to be our only competition for him.

Get club legends Clive Waterhouse and Andrew Wills to show him all those premiership cups in your trophy cabinet when he tours your new facilities wont you?

Quick! For your rebuttal post that picture of hogan wearing a freo scarf on instagram. Then take your unrealistic optimism and focus it on beliving that Freo will eventually win a premiership

Can't see TMac leaving. Done the hard yards with the club and seems pretty invested so i'm not worried. It's all CBA which i'm happy for tmac and Hogan to wait out for

Not fussed by this McDonald news. Doubt he'll leave he seems loyal and we'd be able to offer him a solid deal; although I'm sure he'll get some offers thrown his way.

TBH, this news likely only reflects what his manager is putting to him as being his best negotiating position. Doesn't reflect his feelings about the club, nor Hogan's.

I wouldn't be too worried about McDonald. He's not a FA and if someone wants to trade for him they're going to offer up an even better deal than what Essendon got for Carlisle. Not that he's going anywhere.
 
Collingwood announce 4 player re-signings and all we hear about from our club is how happy the OOC players are to wait until the end of the year...

Do we start getting concerned about this? Other clubs are signing up their players before the season starts and we appear to be sitting on our hands. We have Kent, Tyson, Mcdonald, Watts among many others coming to the end of their contracts and Jesse not exactly filling us with confidence either. Any danger of at least ONE re-signing? Are they waiting to see if Jesse re-signs? Do they not feel comfortable with goody as coach ?

I'm not that worried. Yes it appears we may be sitting on our hands, but it always looks that way until a player actually signs on. It happens (at least it should) behind the scenes.

I'd say the most sensible reason for wanting to defer re-signing - and that applies to the 4 players you've mentioned as much as it does for anyone - is that if they have a stellar season they can significantly pump up their salary for the duration of their next contract. If Tyson, for example, has a top-10-Brownlow finish in 2016, he may come close to doubling his salary for the next 3 years.

I wonder the opposite - whether Collingwood made their 4 players offers they couldn't refuse, one way or another.
