It's almost as if most of those players are young and need to mature

Langdon - Was among our best today and looked good running on the wing. Defence needs to improve, and could be a defensive general if he can. Is a 3rd year player
Williams - I would say at this stage Sinclair, Ramsey and Langdon have gone ahead of him, but he was good last year so I'd say more a form slump
Maynard - Is a second year player. Played well last year, struggled this year...ever hear of 2nd year blues.
DeGoey - Was among our best and is a second year player...what more do you expect at this stage of his development?
Grundy - Has been good up until he got sick in the second NAB Cup. We didn't help him today by putting him one out (even though Saints were in a similar situation). If Witts wasn't right we needed to play one of White, Gault or Cox for second ruck. (BTW he is a fourth year player in a position that players typically don't mature into until their mid to late 20s
Witts - Is a year older than Grundy. He was injured against Sydney that contributed to his performance there and see Grundy re his age and the position he plays.
Frost - Has been good, is a dower defender and we missed him today. Not sure where the Frost hate comes from.
Brown - Has been good, any defender will give up a few when the ball is coming down as often as it has so far this season.

I pot Langdon more than anyone but today he was good. One of the few who looked like they tried.

Langdon, Crisp, Goldsack all tried their guts out. Aish will cop crap for only 11 possessions but he was very composed and showed a lot of great signs.

On the OP though, who is the last player we really saw develop in their time at the club? We've brought in the likes of Varcoe and Treloar who've performed well, and our best players are the likes of Pendles/Swan/Sidebottom/Reid. Who are the youngsters we've molded since Malthouse left?

DeGoey is an absolute bull he is going to be a great player for us, I don't know who you are watching.
