Prediction Player jumper numbers

I'm sick of people saying get rid of this 35 rotation.
I for one am really pleased that our top draft pick every single year learns about the history of the #35 and what presti meant to his teammates and the club. Presti's selflessness needs to be told and not be lost as a distant memory.
Every player will understand Presti's story and for that to ring true In our top pick every year, Then I love it.
Nice sentiments MM but what Robroy22 said is absolutely correct.
35 only means one thing to Collingwood supporters.
Daicos.
It will never be associated as "Presti"
I agree that what Presti did should be recognised but the number 35 thing is the wrong way to go about it.

Hey Listen, I've watched Daicos highlights seen I've been able to walk, and my old man tells me all about him constantly.
But the story of presti goes beyond an individual, It has meaning beyond the person wearing the number and actually fleshing out the symbolism of what he did to every top draft pick we get is a great thing IMHO.
What Darcy Moore did this year

Didn’t think he was right didn’t play when he felt he wasn’t right.
All for the team.

The 35 rotation may in theory be about the Simon nobility.

But in practice everyone pretty much thinks about Daicos and his legacy.

What about the 2 Irish lads?
We will need to use numbers 47 & 48 this year.
Assuming we have Senior list 40, Rookie list 4 & Rookie Cat B 3
Total 47 players (with 42 retired) we need to use up to 48.

Fair points to be sure
Yes they would get 47 and 48

I’ve edited and added the boys Irish

Perhaps 27 for Beams, which links better to the 17 of his first stint. Otherwise I hope it's something fresh, which doesn't have the BL connection.

Tarrant wore 20 the first time, 2 the second. Of course, he only did that because Ben Reid had taken over 20 and had just won a premiership in it and didn't fancy moving, but (to me anyway) it kind of fitted the persona of the older, more wiser Chris Tarrant of 2011.

So, by that reasoning... Beams can take over 1, perhaps...?

Should retire Beams old jumper as well then, as he also did it.

Put Keane in 41, something about him I reckon.
