Prediction Player jumper numbers

We do always seem to be rather tardy with making those changes. I always assumed that the club would be responsible for doing that with the player list pages, but I've seen it suggested in a similar thread that the AFL does it.

We have at least changed Fasolo's number to 0, so they've conceded that something is happening with him!

Yet here's (the top part of) Carlton's senior list page:

Proof positive that the Blues can still get ahead of us at something!!
Actually it’s proof that once you go to Carlton you’re worth 0

Leadership group?

Not sure there will be much change at all?
Could see one younger type promoted to the leadership group.
NB: If Brody Grundy wants it then it would be him for sure but suspect it's not his thing.

  • Captain: Scott Pendlebury
  • Vice Captains (2): Steele Sidebottom; Taylor Adams
  • Leadership Group (3): Jeremy Howe; Lynden Dunn; Adam Treloar

Here's one for the pedants among us! Callum Brown has been renamed Callum L. Brown (for AFL purposes) in recent times. This has happened no doubt because GWS have recruited Irishman Callum Brown onto their books. His middle initial is unknown at this stage!

I do have to wonder why, when they can make a change like this on that page, the likes of Blair and McLarty are still there, and Fasolo has overstayed his welcome by quite a few weeks!

Surely the Leprechaun should be made to put any initial in his name instead of the son of a premiership legend!

You would think the players would know by now? I mean don't have to be assigned a locker by pre season? Where else would they put their stuff :tearsofjoy:
That makes sense.
So your logic is high.

Ofcourse the existing players could simply use their 2018 lockers and as new entrants arrive be given temporary lockers (even with numbers on it eg 11) until the official decision is made.

Though I suspect you’re right and Beams, Roughead and Stephenson have been given their new numbers.

stevo WILL be wearing number ....1.......next year...take it to the bank.....straight from the young fellas mouth....lololol
Very excited by this information.
Would suit him.

I dreaded him getting 11. To me 11 looks the oddest in black white stripes. Have never liked it’s look. I’m sure that’s just a quirk of mine.

I have the Irish Keane in 40 but that’s a pure guess ofcourse.

If we also gain Riley Grundy late in the draft maybe he might get 40 as kind of 4 in it but a rounded 4, what with Brodie in 4.

I need to not over think the numbers.

(ps for new players on big footy;
I’m likely the poster who obsesses about which players get what number the most around here. :D :))

Stephenson 1, Beams 11, Kelly 23 IQ 35

Murray will be on the list for a while so I find it highly unlikely they are gonna vacate 9 for Beams...

He failed the test that comes with a mandatory 4 year ban minimum
Yeah I know, but they must have requested the 2nd sample, and so maybe the initial one isn't a direct cause for the ban? otherwise it would already been handed down. They expect a result early in the new year.

He is already provisionally suspensded. If he is relying on the b sample to save him he is ****ed as the rate of a contaminated A sample and a false positive are next to 0

The dumb action should mean number 9 is available. Thank you Mr Beams it is yours.

Murray can wear 11 instead so his locker is now next to Pendlebury which can only be a good thing :p
