names on backs are for TV purposes, not people on the ground. all sports have been through this and realised is greatly beneficical for tv audiences. people identify with a player alot easier.

Marketing as well, you can buy numbered jumpers with different names

The name really needs to go where the sponsors logo is now. I still think it's a bad idea.

Not necessarily Quinz, you can always just shift things down as there's plenty of room on the lower back where the SGIO logo could go

There, I think that is less confusing for everyone AND keeps the sponsors happy. Obviously Cox will have to retire or get a new number.

It's not going to detrimental to anything unlike most things the AFL implement.

I think its a good idea for GWS this year whilst most of their players are very unknown. Most of GC's players are already known due to them all being high draft picks or from other clubs.
Long term i wouldnt like to see it changed but whilst there is a new club i can live with it. Not hugely against it either way to be honest.
