Played over 200 games, represented Victoria on numerous occasions and made the VFL team of the year 3 times (Basically the equivalent of AA) yet no one seems to have many fond memories or speak glowingly of him lie they do for other past players.

Was a good solid average player. Nothing more imo. Surprised that he made the VFL team of the year once let alone three times. Got nothing against him but blokes like Steve Febey, Glenn Lovett were much better players than Brett imo.
