Player pay in other leagues

Does anyone know roughly how much players in the SANFL/WAFL/VFL get? And do they have salary caps too?

What would a club pay a player with a bit of AFL experience like O'Connor at Port Adelaide?

Or what a mid range player would get?

A couple 100 bucks a game or a half decent living like $25000 - $40000 for a full season?

Seems an interesting question seeing clubs like that are struggling or even falling over.

Peter Somerville was the highest paid player in the VFL last year at $35,000.

Top rate in the SA & WA and a major country league would be the same.

Some players may get a loan car, free rent and other perks.

For a young player $2000 a year base and $500 a game is the going rate.

No salary cap in the VFL, don't know about the SANFL or Westar
