Rewatched the game just now:

Davey: Excellent as usual. Could learn a bit when playing in the midfield still, tries to run the ball when disposal by hand or a clearing kick would help more, because of this tendency to run with it can fumble when picking it up.
Dyson: Not as bad as I thought he had been. Was quite hard at it and used the ball well when he got it. Good hands, pretty composed. Would have liked to see him with it more often. Really surprised, he showed a lot.
Fletcher: Probably BOG.
Hille: Among our best again. Great again.
Houli: Better than I had thought. Was too soft early but made up for it. Used the ball very well and looked great.
Laycock: Great kick, should have got 2 at least. Did some good work in the ruck but couldn't hold as many marks up forward as he could. Will be better playing the role Hill did rather than spending so much time forward. Was on Lake for the most part. No shame in getting beaten in that.
Lonergan: Probably our best inside midfielder for the game.
Lovett: Copped some criticism here for not being hard enough at the ball here but wasn't that bad at all. Put himself in the contests many times, just got bossed a little because he's a bit light; tried hard and got in there all game. Didn't get enough of it and his skills weren't as good as last week, but was solid I thought.
Lovett-Murray: Wasn't in it that much, needs to work his way into the game more. Ok considering it was his first game back in and playing that new role up the ground.
McPhee: Worked very hard and was solid. Some of his choices near goal were bad but that applies to other too. Seemed to make more of an effort to turn around faster, the problem is is still waits for an ideal option and gives the opposition defence too much time.
McVeigh: Excellent again. Good leadership.
Michael: Was outstanding I thought. Just as good as Fletcher.
Nash: Good game after last week, worked well with the defenders and seemed to judge his movement out of defence well. Used the ball wonderfuly.
Pears: Looked a bit behind the pace of the game but did some good things. Promising signs.
Peverill: Was ok in his tagging role but used the ball pretty poorly when he got it (the one exception was the pass to Rama, but that's no excuse for everything else). Was slow and looked like he didn't understand where he was meant to be giving the ball when he got it.
Rama: Ok but nothing special. Looked tired in parts. Disappointing effort late on; could have ran it right in.
Reimers: Ran hard all game and covered the ground well. Did some good things but also lacked a little polish at times.
Ryder: Was excellent.
Slattery: Did a really good tagging role. The only problem is that he watched the man too much at times and gave away so free kicks he didn't need to.
Stanton: Along with McVeigh was out best in the key third term. Tackled very hard and covered the ground well. Kicked some key goals.
Watson: A bit out of it. Some bad handpasses. Was not impressed with his game.
Winders: Great run. Unfortunatly couldn't run out the game well.

peverill clearly the worst IMO.

not sure if he should stay in against st kilda.

st kildas midfield isn't that quick - should we go head to head without a tagger and try and run them off their feet? i'm thinking yes which would mean out pev.

Wouldnt have anything to do with the amount of blood he had lost? Agreed he didnt have the greatest of games, but as he was forced to keep coming off the ground with the blood rule probably found it hard to get into the game, I thought he was starting to look alright until the friendly fire brought him down, after that, wasnt able to get into the game.

To many soft players, they were intimidated against the Bullies hard bodies. Lovett, Davey, etc must harden up. McVeigh was clearly the most influencial Bomber on the ground.
