Absolutely he is. For me, it's especially in his marking. He launches himself just like his dad, including the straight way he holds his body when flying for a mark. Peter Moore # 2.
It really was a 'wow' half.
Get him running in straight for his goal kicking and enjoy for many years!

Fair point, but on some occasions he did get lost in transition.

Marsh is still very young - I still have high hopes for him.
I think another preseason and ten or twenty more games, then he'll be fine.
Brown, Frost or Keefe.
Reid and Howe.
Plenty of decent options next year for small and mediums.
Back line is getting there.

Watched the replay again yesterday and Marsh did intercept really well. It also true none of Darlings goals can be attributed to Marsh. He also spent a bit of time on Kennedy and closed him down as well. The issue for Marsh is his use by foot and to that end I think DaVe86 call that its probably Keefe and Marsh long term is an accurate one. I just dont think you can have Marsh (if his kicking doesnt improve) and Brown in same side as the latter kicking def wont improve.

Gotta to wonder how they get Goldsack into that side. If they cant he will be off.

Fair point, but on some occasions he did get lost in transition. We are seemingly back to playing more of a man on man defence, so it means that if Marsh isn't in the picture, then it is still his responsibility. Unlike a zone where it is realistically the person closest who is responsible.

I thought Marsh was well beaten in the first, but came back strongly. Some of his tackles were great. You could see his opponent couldn't believe how quickly he swooped.

I agree though that Marsh and Brown in the one backline is a bit dangerous. I'm thinking Keeffe may come in for Brown long term as he is a better kick.

Except we are still doing the manic peel off your man to pressure the ball carrier.

I love seeing him on the ball at times. He tackles hard and creates space in a wrecking ball kind of way. The big thing for me was that late goal he kicked. He would have missed that last year.
Re White: Having watched the replay again, I really liked his ruck work, probably the best I have seen him play there.

He's been quite ok, consistent for the third tall type.
Good on him for these efforts

Not so sure about that, especially in the Game Day thread. Buyer Beware...
