The people tagged below were a part of the sponsorship group last year either paying for themselves or someone else generously paid for them. If you are interested in going around again, please add your name to the list with your contribution amount. I'm not sure exactly how long we have left to raise the remaining amount but I'd suspect somewhere between 5-6 weeks. I'll shoot the club an email tomorrow to confirm but in the meantime, if there are any friends, family, colleagues, etc, that you'd think would be interested in jumping on board please get the word out.

Just got a message back from the club today, she mentioned that there is no deadline per se but there are chances of specific players being taken, parts of the program begin like the meet and greet and other functions, or the program may sell out. I'd still suggest that we try and raise the required amount by the first/second week of March to give ourselves the best chance of having everything organised and not have to panic later on.

Hi all,
As mentioned above, I will be making a call on the sponsorship for 2024 next Sunday night if we don't get to the required total of $4500. Thanks to those who have committed so far. Given the events are only available in selected rounds, it'll be hard to organize groups if we continue to wait throughout the season and the money becomes dead money. If others are still interested in going ahead, I am happy to still be in contact with the club or pass on the details if someone else wants to take the helm. I did try to start the process earlier this year but unfortunately, it appears to be a large amount to get in a short time. I have just sent out some DMs to see if people are interested and if anyone knows other Collingwood fans who aren't on BigFooty but would be interested, please get the word out.

From my personal point of view, I'd be okay with that arrangement given it'd get us much closer to the required amount but I would have to get approval from the other posters who are willing to make contributions before giving it the green light. If someone is not okay with it, they could also provide a counter for cityslick1 to consider.
Just for everyone else's reference, the President's Club event is regularly sold at $495-$595 per head depending on the game. So value wise it is under but I appreciate the fact that the offer is a large sum of money which would get us much closer and that you wouldn't want to pay the full price that I've mentioend.
