I don't think Essendon's form and Joe Daniher's injury are as closely related as the timeline would have you think. Additionally, Joe was probably playing OP for longer than he was letting on.
 
Gold Coast and Tom Lynch is really the only answer.

But North need Ben Brown, a lot.
