Cross v Watson

I don't care about league win.

Do you think I should go Watson for the trade up as they are bye friendly? Or Cross as he will brain it with the score changes?

Cross. Hands down. I know that might sound a bit bias, but he is too consistent and will score more than Watson.

I'd go with Watson over Cross. He is more consistent and doesnt have a bye clashing with the Saints and is pretty unique.

Knights is injury plagued and hasn't been reliable in the past, Morton has had iffy pre-season form.

Go with Swallow, the kid has a body built for AFL. Was never in doubt of going anywhere but number 1, you cant ignore that.

Already got Roo, Franklin and Rioli.

So who out of Green, Goodes, Johnson Sylvia?

Goodes, he managed a 94 average last year with his kicking
effiency in the 50's. Cant see him repeating that this year, if he can get his effiency back to high 60's or low 70's at least he could prob top the ton. Not really a big task for him.

Otten or Toy (or another rookie)? With all the tal kabout Otten being a sub, is it worth looking elsewhere or just sticking with otten with the assumption he cant possible be a sub all the time.

Do I hold out hoping Savage or C Beams get picked or do I pick up Curnow today knowing he is playing round 1....he's good in the wet as well so should pretty well

^ I wouldn't go for Curnow personally. I think he will be in an out of the team a lot. Most likely starting as a sub to. Will make cash but don't expect him to make a lot in the course of the next few weeks imo. He really has to fire today to keep his spot.

Gibbs, once hodge is fit an firing it will negate Bruces scores a little.

I'd go gibbs, can see him roaming around the ground a bit more than bruce, considering how stacked hawthorns midfield will be (hodge, mitchell, burgoyne, bateman, sewell, rioli?)

Boak is sounding mighty tempting, but bartel is the safer option

i would go cyril. I dont like SJs inconsistancy. while I don't have cyril, I think he might be set to imrpove, where Sj is likely to stay the same or go backwards.

My last choice is Swan or Pendles?
(i've got 150k in the bank, with the extra 80k I could upgrade Bock to enright/lake or otten to gwilt)

more that he finished last year with a bang, and is at that age where he could become a real premium. Other upside is he could be a candidate to be upgraded to ablett depending on his form after GC get their byes out of the way

Well it depends on your risk aversion...

How sure are you Ward & Yarren will be worth it? Honestly.... Now how sure are you that you will have Bartel come the end of the year & that Tapscott will make you some good coin?

IMO at the end of the day you know Bartel will be a keeper and Tapscott should make you some money. Whereas the Ward Yarren option leaves you open to the potential they don't live upto expectation. Thus I'd go Bartel & Tapscott myself.
