Swan, Judd and Goodes (3 Mids I currently have) or Chapman/Selwood, Pendlebury and Lenny Hayes

*Note; if I opt for the latter, it allows me to purchase Deledio as opposed to Gilbert, as I already have Goddard in my backs (Sound confusing enough??)

I see that everybody is mentioning Chapman as a fwd. If you want a decent MPP for mid/fwd there isn't any premiums apart from Chappy. The next best is Goodes. For that reason i have him in my mids.

1. Pretty even here, matter of choice. Bartel should score higher than 97 this year in the absence of Ablett.
2. Wouldn't go either of these players. Murphy gets over rated every year and disappoints.
3. Pavlich, last season in the midfield he pushed players aside, wins the ball. Easily a 100+ forward.

I Have Sandilands, Jolly, Petrie, and Z Smith in the ruck. I had Tippett in the forward line to rotate with Petrie. I've now ditched Tippett. I'm not convinced he's going to score well. I think if he doesn't mark and kick goals, he's gonna be in for a very crappy score. And I don't think the Tippett/Petrie rotation is needed. I reckon Z Smith will be given plenty of game time, Gold Coast would need to give him that. And I'm considering Derrickx to play as a 4th ruck. But Its up to you how you play your rucks. Also note that If Derrickx and Z Smith play through the season, you will make much more than you will on Petrie. And also save 150k for upgrades.

Knights or Richardson, either or. Should be similar.

1. Kracks then Knights, To me tippett relies too heavily on mark and goal scoring. yeah could get 150+games from time to time, but prob also get 30s.

Gibbs or Lake

Gibbs, Lake is injured. I reckon though, Chaplin from Port plays a similar role to Lake. Should be able to nudge up to 100ppg. Takes a lot of marks from opposition, and gets a lot of kicks.

I'd say both are pretty even, anything can happen. There are pros and cons to both those midfield selections.

I'd like to see a bit more of Derickx before slecting him. Will he even make the Tigers round 1 team?

Jurrah is certainly a fun player to have in your team, i'd also look closely at Dangerfield.

Which 2 out Of Hodge, pendles and Murphy?

Hard to spilt the three. I guess if you've already got Swan then maybe stay clear of Pendles. Murphy's had a solid pre season and is very consistent.

The last two are very close to call. I'm not sure what Hodge's role will be this season. Maybe i'd select Pendles ahead of him, just. But that's all dependant on whether or not you have Swan.

Well, it depends if you can get past that war crime atop Pendlebury's head this season... did he go Rastafarian in Arizona or something?

Worst haircut in the AFL behind Nason aside: Pendlebury looks set to have a ripper season, I would go for him.

Well I would go Murphy. His body looked bigger last night and he had a great game against Richmond. I already have Swan in the midfield so two Collingwood players in the midfield wouldn't be a good decision due to the bye.

Actually because Collingwood have separate byes to any other team having 2 Pies players shouldn't be a problem if you have cover. It's really no different to having players from different teams who have a multi bye together.
