Which rookie do i choose though that i do not have already?

I already have Heppell, Hibberd, Duigan, Coad or Toy (still tossing up, probably Toy), Faulks, Pederson as rookies available for the backline with possibly two of those to start (one in the midfield).

Who do you suppose I look at?

A lot of talk out of Adelaide is that Crow McKernan is set for a lot of games this year, none of the other rookies are really filling me with much confidence.

Others I have considered are:

James Strauss (Melbourne) not sure he will get games though, highly rated but injury prone youngster who managed a couple of games last year averaging 23.

Simon Buckley (Collingwood) reminds me of former Tiger turned Lion, Andrew Raines. Gets it a bit but burns his scores by his poor foot disposal. Not sure he will play a lot of games from early on let alone enough to be considered a cash cow.

Andrew Hooper/Cristian Howard (Western Bulldogs) Bulldog pairing who have been groomed for a more senior role this year. Howard in particular I have heard has been flying through the pre season (correct me if I am wrong doggies fans?) whilst Hooper managed a few games last year (not sure why they are not on his stats (do they have two Andrew Hoopers on the list?)

Shaun Mckernan (Adelaide) been mentione he will get plenty of game time this year, a possibilty?

Could we fork out an extra 20K and look at Brodie Smith? havenet heard a lot about him from the pre season so a bit sceptical to pick him, saw he had a great start to the game on the w.e only to be subbed off (I think?).

Any ideas would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

R. Tarrant could be one.

You would need 4 premiums if you're going in with so many rookies in the backs though.

Technically - No.

However if you buy them you are doing so because you believe they will average over 100 in which case they will become premiums and therefore keepers.

HaHa :D

I have Goddard and Gibbs as well (Deledio is in the mids to utilise his MPP with Gibbs and Heppel/Hibberd).

None of the other top line premiums fill me with much confidence, perhaps Enright, was seriously thinking about Malceski after seeing his first couple of NAB games, pity about the knee huh.

Been thinking that it is the new wave of superstars that is leading the way this year. No talk about J.Brown being a definitie starter, or Pavlich being a lock, Cox either. We are hearing about guys like Selwood, Grimes, Cyril, Gibbs being in 80% of teams.

Guarantee you Martin and Scully outscore Cotchin and Anthony this season, simply because of their inability to stay on the pitch. Book mark this post and ill buy you a beer if I'm wrong.

At that price range I'd go for Dustin Martin or even Tom Scully to save $$.

Beams v Wellingham?

Porp v Murphy?

First option I would go Swan or Pendlebury

Second option I would go with Higgins or Sylvia - Even these two are less injury prone than the ones you mention.

Increase the stake and I'll back Anthony in :D
