The ruckman will be for R3 spot. I've gone with Mumford + Cox and need 2 playing ruckman on my bench to avoid a donut in Rd6. lol. Bellchamber is apparently going to be getting games....!!

Currently deciding between Bartel & Harvey for my M3 spot.

I currently have Harvey in for his DP flexibility plus once upgrading season begins he will be shuffled to my F6. But Bartel is underpriced & so much quality. Plus Harvey's age worries me a little.

I understand that but this is only for the opening rounds and up until last year Bartel was a proven 110 point player. I'm currently batting 5 deep in both of my forwards & backs and am prepared to go a little light on in the mids for the opening few rounds with the aim to get in the best 6 pure mids.

With Harvey I am essentially playing my F6 in my M3 position for the opening 7 rounds or so (until I bring in Pendles).

Adcock has more upside. He has the ability to get some massive scores, he does carry the risk of injury but the rewards out wieghs Everrit imo.

Adcock has more upside. He has the ability to get some massive scores, he does carry the risk of injury but the rewards out wieghs Everrit imo.

Petrie vs. Knights? Looking at a mid-low priced forward to replace Mzunghu, got about 250k.

I was tossing up the same 2, i tend to think that petrie has a better chance of getting back to his former self, i understand that he has had whats probably considerd a more serious injury but he has been a proven player for far longer than knights, and he'll play key pos which means they try to get it to him as much as they can, where as knights, as a smaller player, could drift in a out of games. Theres my 2 cents.

assuming they both play round 1, which would you expect to score better, i understand atleys job security is better but i have a feeling curnow could do a fair bit and be a nice little money earner.

Tough one Hodge2NM but I would say Pendles and Selwood for sure both on-the-ball guns. If you believe the hype, Pendles is in for a huge one, and Selwood proven huge scorer. I have Selwood/Swan

What about Sylvia vs O'Keefe people?

That's a tough one. I'd say O'Keefe purely because he is durable and has played 21+ games (excluding finals) since 2004. Was out of sorts in 2010 since the Rd6 game against Brisbane. Copped a bad knock against Hawks in Rd 10 and carried a groin injury much of the latter part of the season. All that showed in his avg where he dropped 18 points from 2009.

His pre-season has been a little underwhelming so far in 2011, i just wonder if it's a sign of things to come as he has just hit 30 this year.

Sylvia can score ok as well, but has played no more than 18 games in a season since the start of his career in 2004.

It's a tough call. but i'd possibly take the punt on O'Keefe due to the fact he'll play 22 and has a better upside scoring wise.

Yarran, as a Carlton supporter I have watched all bar one of the pre-season games and he has been fantastic in all of the games. Has good disposal and he lays a few tackles so is perfect for SC. Yarran 100%

Mine is I've noticed that the hype on Wallis has died down immensly, and have heard that he won't get much gametime as predicted, who do you think will get more game time and should be traded in for him?

it's a crowded midfield, but Carlton are missing Jamison for a few weeks so there is a spot there for Curnow to win. I think he'll play rd 1 because of it and if he performs, who says he gets dropped? Atley should be in the North team for awhile because of key injuries so he has job security by default I guess.

I would wait for round 1 teams (a bit harder with Carlton playing Thursday admittedly) and just go with your gut. failing that, get someone else.

I think Curnow will be there round one. He has played a few practice matches and was elevated off the rookie list yesterday surely they will play him round one.

But will he play enough games to make me more money if not as much money as atley. I think his scoring will be a bit better than atley so that's why I'm contemplating this. And I tend to think that jamison's spot in the side will probably be taken by Watson( like for a like) and curnow will need to find a spot another way, can he push forward and kick goals or is he purly a mid like atley is?
