Either the tigers are a gun team or they have really poor depth and 2nd/3rd tier players

Or KB / Richo are doing the rankings

Thought the Gov hype may have seen him in.

Priddis top 10 is great to see though.
Expect Gaff to continue to rise up the ranks.

Is JK the highest rated KPF?

Edit: I see Roughead at 11, both excellent players. I thought JK had a better year, but GF probably hurt him...

Wouldn't be surprised if Franklin beats him on reputation.

Who is left?
Danger
Sellwood
Mitchell
Priddis
Pendlebury
Gaz
Fyfe
Gray

Pretty insulting to be honest.

Priddis - Top 10 is okay
Kennedy - By far the best key forward going around - not in the Top 10 is bullshit
Nic Nat - probably okay
Gaff - after being an all-aust (easily) last year, a B+F in a grand final side (beating a guy that won the Coleman by 12 goals and a Brownlow Medal runner up) and just 23 years old (i.e. likely to continue getting better) - having him at 36 is ****ing embarrassing.
LeCras - should have snuck in.
Shuey must have been close.
EMac was a Top 20 player for two seasons before his injury. He's not on the list now that he's fully fit?? wtf?

So, we are basically seen as the best team in the league (Hawks are favorite pretty much because the Grand Final will be played in Melbourne) and we have 2 of the top 34 players? Yet Richmond has 3? Gold Coast has 2? 3 for Port Adelaide? Sydney has 4? **** off!

But it's a player vote. Players vote on who they are reading about in the Melbourne newspapers. Oh well. Guess they will remember the eagles players by name when each of the eagles players has a premiership medallion around their necks at the end of the year.

Mate, the more we fly under the radar, the happier I am.

Kennedy - Has had one truly elite season, before that he was always a bit hot and cold
Gaff - He had a big breakout season last year, another one like last year will see him climb the rankings
Shuey - see above
Lecras - A good case, but who does he replace?
Emac - Would have slid massively after last years set back. If he had played like 2014 again he would have given it a big shake.

jk has kicked above 60 goals in the previous 2 seasons before that and thats like very good.

It really doesn't. The player vote is a popularity contest in a lot of cases. They don't see all the games etc. etc.
Although they do have the slight advantage of playing against them on field. I think they'd clearly know, far better than us, who the top players were just by the countless meetings they'd have leading up to a game against them to see how they can minimise their impact. Sure it's still a popularity contest but a far more educated one than what a public vote would result in.

P.S. Congrats to Priddis on a well deserved #9. Reading the write up: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-03-...ayers-no9-is-the-ultimate-brownlow-votewinner is a great reminder of how good he is. 9 of 10 seasons in top four B&F for our club, with his debut season being the one outside when he played 2 games and won the Sandover that year. Has plenty of critics but not sure I know of any player more consistent - have him in my league-wide best 22 every day of the week.

Well done to Pridda, I think no. 9 is pretty much spot on.

He has been super consistent the last few years, but the obvious deficiencies in his game prevent him from jumping into the top five conversation.

Shuey unliked and unrated by his peers?

He isn't rated by many outside of West Coast - except the coaches who tag him.

Talking with knowledgeable supporters from other teams, they don't rate Shuey, they acknowledge his good, but you'd be laughed at if you suggested he's in the top 50.
Could be a bit of stigma from being tagged out of games.
Stephen Hill suffers a similar stigma.
