After winning the MVP last year unfortunately TFW is unable to go back to back this time around - although I doubt it will fuss the big dragons ruckman who had a very good season all round.

TFW, or "The Better Brother" as we know him, won All SFA selection, was runner up in the Dragons B&F and became captain of his beloved club. He also was a regular contributor off field with some media threads, great presence around the league and a huge input into the podcasts.

TFW is another of the classic Sweet FA player - funny, easygoing and approachable, he's even keen to help out the noobies when required but cross him and the persona changes. He has a biting wit which is perfect for this competition and is a Match Thread specialist. A true leader of the competition as well as a top bloke, I congratulate Filthy on his second placing.

Very well deserved, buddy.

Is anyone surprised? Really?

Marlowe is a class act. Intelligent, witty and fun to post with (for and against) he is what this league needs more of - sharp posters. And he's as keen as they come. A match thread wizard he has the ability to turn threads on their head with a single post. When he speaks, we listen. It's a remarkable trait to have - even more so on an anonymous forum but that is the charisma of Marlowe.

I'm not going to bore you with post stats or possessions - Marlowe did have a decent season in case you were wondering - but it's his media, his ability to post in any thread and make it better and his energy that put him in a class above.

I'd love to get him on a podcast one time as I think he would be the perfect guest but until then I'll just have to keep following him around the forum to find the nuggets of gold that he leaves.

It's hard to get us to agree on anything on here but I'm willing to bet that tonight everyone agrees we got this one right.

Congratulations to Marlowe on his win and I look forward to Season 19 where plenty of you out there really need to lift your games.
