Season 18 posts: 357 Average: 17.9

The Co-Captain of the Rats had the arduous task of trying to consolidate his club off the field after MannumPower was granted a stay of execution and was left free to his own devices. Under difficult circumstances, he acquitted himself well and led from the front. With a few integral parts to the Rats puzzle appearing to have either jumped ship or deciding to remain obsolete, his efforts were of vital importance and he didn't disappoint. After a 24th place finish last season, spook's improvement has been evident, while his stocks have risen significantly as his responsibility has grown.

Spookism isn't one to post huge figures in match threads, but his undoubted presence and quality make up for a lack of foreplay. A second place finish in the Mobbs Medal, coupled with his undoubted excellence off the field, saw this often unheralded player mightily unlucky to miss out on selection in the All-SFA side. Nevertheless, spookism played his part with aplomb and was a shining light in an otherwise fruitless season by the Boys from Alberton. The icing on the cake was his win in the clubs best and fairest, and he now remains a cornerstone in trying to secure the Rats a place back on the SFA map, and back into finals calculations. spookism will remain a key figure in trying to steer the Rats train back onto the rails as the club focuses of making amends for a rather disappointing season both on and off the field.

Not one to pump up his own tyres, spookism's team first approach was evident in his media contributions this season. Whilst not being overly excessive on this front, his efforts were solely centered on his club, and with that, bringing their name back to the forefront of peoples minds. Something rarely seen in the SFA, he put his club under the microscope by pleading publicly for players for season 19, which must be commended, and in the face of adversity this out of the box thinking may eventually bear fruit.

Overall and impressive season from spookism mixed with flair, wit and goodwill, and one in which deserves this acknowledgement as 20th ranked poster for season 18 as voted by his peers, and one in which that has shown his continual improvement from last season. I suspect this will be the last time we see him this low in calculations, with a higher calling a likely prospect in season 19.

Well done on a fine season of posting that culminated with you being recognised by 13 of your peers for this award.

Season 18 posts: 331 Average: 15.8

Season 18 culminated with Footypie32 becoming just the 18th player in league history to win a club best and fairest in a premiership year. His fine season was capped off when he received All-SFA honors, and with it, stamping himself as a star of the league. Like his namesake, he became richly priced, and as offers for his services mounted, he burnt off his attackers with every bite. With Logger on the verge of retirement, and Eth unlikely to remain as captain forever, Footypie32 is the likely successor to take over the reigns as leader of the club, which is a testament to how high his stocks have risen after a solid beginning to his career.

His output for season 18 wasn't what you'd call excessive, but it was his proficiency and his ability to get the job done that held him in good stead. His quick wit and laid back approach set the tone for his team in match threads, and with it, made him a likable league wide figure. Despite not having huge posting numbers in match threads over the course of the season, it was his ability to make an impact when needed that seen him figure prominently in final standings for this award. With the ever changing landscape of the SFA now focused on an over abundance of activity, he's allayed the fears of those who wish to travel down a similar path and remain vigilant in their approach.

Footypie's media contributions were limited, preferring to make concise and direct points. His support of newly appointed admin okeydoke7 may have cost him a hat, but a brand new cap is enough to support his every growing collection of feathers, and if he decided to further dabble in more media, that collection will continue to grow.

With more exposure and a greater emphasis on extending his output, this won't be the last time we'll see him featuring on the list of the league's premier posting talents. He owns all the tools, and can mix it with the best, he needs to find more consistency and we'll see further progression, as this untapped talent continues to take the league by storm.

Well done on a truly remarkable season that seen you become a premiership player and duly recognised by 13 of your peers as one of the better posters in the league.

fumbler is an enigma wrapped in a nonsensical question that no one asked but the Furies had a cracking season and one of the shining lights was the unorthodox co-captain. A posting average of over 30 shows that fumbler is a big time poster for the club - and while some of these posts can make no sense at all he does lead passionately from the front. In a "loveable rogue" kind of way, fumbler rated on 14 people's votes with one poster rating him the best in the league.
Media contributions were few and far between but there was the classically titled "I'm Staying on as Captain cos I'm Ace" which started with the typically fumbler-esque OP of :
