To go completely missing for quarters/halves at a time is not normal though. Difference between what we do and every teams' normal waxing and waning of application in a gameThe reality is every team’s application wains to an extent at times, or are bested for intent by their opponents, if not the whole team then certain players or lines. The really good teams can withstand or absorb this. We often can’t. If our midfield isn’t full throttle then we can be an easy kill. There’s a multitude of reasons for it.
