Both played for Peel on the weekend.Has anyone heard how they went.
Did they both play full games.
Or more importantly, did they perform to a standard that will bring them back into calculations for round one.

I read somewhere that Blakely was BOG.

The coach said Blakely was BOG for Peel. I don't know if that means much for Rd1 though.

For mine, Blakely is a pretty underwhelming player. He comes across as defensively lazy when the game is on the line. The dying minutes of both the Carlton and the St Kilda games last year made him look pretty ordinary.

Apparently they had interrupted preseasons, and their games at Peel had more to do with giving them more game-time than form.
