I think Carr's body was largely cooked by the end of his time at Freo, likely due to his game style.
It's also why he largely returned to Port without anyone else trying to pinch him from the PSD.

Absolutely loved him during his first stint at Port, thought that he could've been anything particularly when he had games where he tagged an opposition gun out of the game (e.g. Voss) and still managed to kick a few goals himself. Seemed to give good service to Freo, before falling away

When he retired plenty of people didn't know he was still playing, the cliff came fast. Was a key player at Port then Freo before he returned to SA.
