Jeff Hogg - Fitzroy
Sean Wellman - Adelaide

Craig Davis-Blues Pies Sydney.

Heater set up his retirement with a few years at the Giants. Not Robinson Crusoe in that regard.

Brett James was a serious young centreman for the Pies before he won 2 flags for the Crows, was rapt for him. 4 years on the list for two premierships, absolute legend.

Heath Shaw is an intriguing one. Most would remember him as a Pies player yet he probably he played his best footy for the Giants highlighted by the 2x AA guernseys he won while playing there. Nearly played as many games too (152 vs 173).

Jeepers was it that long?

I felt Shawy was the best defender in the game for a few years either side of the premiership, even compared to those great Geelong backs like Enright and Taylor (Enright better overall of course, just for a few years Shaw reached those heights)

Superb rebounder, amazing stopper, as smart onfield as he was dumb off it. You were guaranteed one brainfart a game, but the rest was gold. Skills under pressure were almost better than when he was clear.

Brenton Sanderson played 199 games with Geelong, 6 games with Adelaide and 4 with Collingwood

Jack Gunston - 2 other clubs!

Keeping it Eagles-centric, both ways...

Peter Wilson
Craig Turley
Ben Cousins (although I guess his Richmond return was very heavily publicised at the time...)
Sam Mitchell
Quinten Lynch
Fraser Gehrig

Jack Darling will end up on this list eventually too...
Gehrig might be the most extreme version of this topic, bloke was an All Australian for the Eagles.

And yet the G-Train is what people remember.

The entire Crazy Vossy recruitment campaign at Brisbane?

Matt Maguire
Brent Staker
Andrew Raines
Amon Buchanan
Xavier Clarke

And then I guess the young Lions all going the other way a few years later?

Elliot Yeo
Sam Docherty
Billy Longer
And to a lesser extent Jared Polec

Nick Daffy tigers to Swans

A few Essendon top-ups from their 2016 season:

Mark Jamar
Ryan Crowley
Craig Bird
James Kelly
Nathan Grima
Matthew Leuenberger

And a couple from the preceding seasons:
Paul Chapman
Adam Cooney

Yep, most fans will - justifiably - remember his time with the Saints and not with the Eagles.

Drew Petrie played most of his career at North Melbourne.

Played 16 games for west coast in 2017. I don't even remember him playing for west coast.

Luke Strnadica played games for eagles.

Hugh Dixon and Stefan Giro I remember playing games for the dockers. I barely remember both of those blokes playing games for the eagles in 2022. LoL
