Neither played a game (or attended a training session for that matter) but pretty sure Tim Watson was drafted by the Eagles, and Dipper to the Tigers post retirement. In terms of coaches, Alan Jeans at Richmond is often forgotten.

Corey Mckernan - Carlton
Richard Tambling - Adelaide
Rockin Ronnie Burns - Adelaide

The entire Crazy Vossy recruitment campaign at Brisbane?

Matt Maguire
Brent Staker
Andrew Raines
Amon Buchanan
Xavier Clarke

And then I guess the young Lions all going the other way a few years later?

Elliot Yeo
Sam Docherty
Billy Longer
And to a lesser extent Jared Polec
Everyone remembers all of them.

In the same manner, Podsiadly was on Essendon's rookie list before toiling away at VFL level for many years before finally getting his chance at Geelong.

Not sure about Dipper but Gerard Healy was also drafted to Collingwood in the same way.

I guess the ironic thing about Watson is not only did he play AFL after he was drafted by the Eagles but he played in another premiership!

You could almost say that about the whole 2001 Essendon Grand Final team. There were a lot that played for other clubs after that game.

Danny Jacobs, Mark Johnson, Dean Solomon, Damien Hardwick, Chris Heffernan, Blake Caracella, Gary Moorcroft and Justin Blumfield.

Apart from Mark McVeigh, I don't think you could find a player in that GF team that played their best footy for Essendon after that Grand Final compared to what they had before that match.

Mark Williams from Hawthorn. Was traded to Essendon and only played something like 8 games to them. Part of the Burgoyne trade.

Luke McPharlin was part of the trade to Fremantle from Hawthorn for pick 1.

Doug Hawkins last season was with Fitzroy.

For other Swans-Lions connections, Craig Bolton started his career at Brisbane and Daniel Bradshaw finished his at Sydney.
Ben Fixter another off the top of my head to play for both in that era, although to be fair I barely associate him with either club, let alone being able to nominate one as the second club. 😂

Geelong have a few in the Chris Scott era:

Sam Blease
Hamish Macintosh
Stewart Crameri
Aaron Black
Jonathan Ceglar
Jack Steven

Drew Petrie - West Coast
Justin Madden - Essendon
James Kelly - Essendon
Luke Power - GWS

Gehrig and Salmon aren’t great examples, they’re dual club players

apparently Cale Morton played for the Eagles, did not remember that. all subbed in, all losses, kicked a goal v Swans

Anthony rocca - Sydney before Collingwood
Darren gasper - Sydney before Richmond (only remember as he was the no1 draft pick)
Jeff white - Fremantle before Melbourne (see above)
Daniel wells - Collingwood after north
Robbie tarrant - Richmond after north
Brett Allison - Sydney after north
Kent Kingsley - north before geelong
Cam Mooney - north before geelong
