Never could warm to Peter McKenna in a carlton jumper,
You can take the bloke out of Collingwood, but ...My brother (who was 15yo at the time) ran onto Princes Park at the end of a game, went up to McKenna and said "you are not worth the money we paid for you".
McKenna punched him in the guts.

Didn't know that. Doesn't surprise me though.Terry Wheeler - infamous for the squirrel grip
Craig Kelly - all bluff, used to pinch players behind play, utterly had tickets on himself
Tony Liberatore - arseh*le of a footballer
Sheedy - kicked, spat, elbowed, dog of a player
The entire 1978 St Kilda team - goon squad
Didn't know that. Doesn't surprise me though.
Again, did not know that.Held the record for being the victim at the tribunal.
I was at Leederville oval some years back when Ratten was coach with my young Carlton mad son. We were playing Freo in a practice match if I recall correctly. 45 minutes before play the boys were warming up and coming to the boundary signing autographs, I asked Chris could he sign the young blokes jumper and he said later. As they were heading from the ground up through the players race, after the warmup the players again were signing autographs, me and my lad asked Chris again and were both told at the end of the game.Brett Ratten came over and signed my son's jumper and said Chris can be in his own zone at times!Actually never heard anyone say that. Seems like a reasonable bloke.
Very dissapointed to hear this, really didnt think he was like that.I was at Leederville oval some years back when Ratten was coach with my young Carlton mad son. We lost the practice match but waited with what appeared to be quite a few parents and kids all waiting for Judd's autograph. He dismissed us all and when I said what about your promise to my son he said I never said that
From that day on he is a shit bloke in my eyes.I will never forgive him.
I almost forgot that he ever did wear our jumper damn it..My brother (who was 15yo at the time) ran onto Princes Park at the end of a game, went up to McKenna and said "you are not worth the money we paid for you".

That would suck, especially for the young fella.I was at Leederville oval some years back when Ratten was coach with my young Carlton mad son. Andy I hope it was an isolated incident but it was enough for me. I also know you can't make everyone happy all the time.Very dissapointed to hear this, really didnt think he was like that.
Devastated would be appropriate. That would suck, especially for the young fella.
Or spare 3 minutes of his time for a quick chat and an autograph...Disapointing..Andy I hope it was an isolated incident but it was enough for me. I also know you can't make everyone happy all the time.
All he had to say is not today guys or something like that.

Come to think of it he could of done a bit more of getting hard ball gets instead of being a seagull . In hindsight..Every footy fan has a handful of players that were popular in most people's eyes but they have no time for.
Time to fess up ....
For me, I never ever got on the Bryce Gibbs bandwagon, always thought he was massively skilled but as lazy as all get out.
There's hype about Nick Graham?Never could warm to Peter McKenna in a carlton jumper, Mick Martin another
Don’t get the hype about Nick Graham
Plenty of other AFL players, Milne, Nick Reiwoldt, Lewis, milburn, I could go on
Didnt he win the best player in the VFL award (no sure what medal it is) a couple of years ago.
