No doubting his skills and was a brilliant player but not much time for him as a person.
And Daniel Hannebery...I met him while working Security and he thought he was the best because he had won the Rising Star.
His words were "Do you know who I am."
Where I replied "Nope."
He then told me "I'm Daniel Hannebery, I won the NAB Rising Star."
To that, I replied, "Okay, but it's time for everybody to leave."
Haven't liked the bloke ever since.

Always carried on a bit on the field, not surprised to hear this.Met Wayne Campbell way back in the day, the term figjam was made for him.
Funnily enough on the top bloke end. Myself and a mate had returned to boarding school in Kilmore by bus one Sunday. We decided to wander down to the TAB for a few bets before returning to the boarding house (back then 16yo's were able to get on). We walk in to the Tab and its empty with the exception of one David Rhys-Jones. We stood in the TAB and talked horses and footy with him for probably 2 hours, just a couple of kids and a retired Star. Legend. Also met Andrew Walker and Robert Harvey working Security, both were top blokes.
